On Sunday, November 27th, join Horton the elephant on his journey to save the tiny world of Whoville at Hullabaloo, YPT’s highly-anticipated annual fundraising event! This fun-filled day is jam-packed with activities and entertainment the whole family can enjoy, including face-painting, children’s crafts, a live and silent auction and food – all inspired by the Broadway musical, Seussical™. Doors open at 12:30 pm and the performance is at 2:00 pm.
Hullabaloo culminates in a special performance of Seussical™ with Music by Stephen Flaherty; Lyrics by Lynn Ahrens; Book by Lynn Ahrens and Stephen Flaherty; Co-conceived by Lynn Ahrens, Stephen Flaherty, and Eric Idle; Based on the Works of Dr. Seuss.
In this delightful musical, based on the beloved Dr. Seuss books, Horton the Elephant seems powerless to convince anyone in the Jungle of Nool that he can hear the panicked cries for help from the tiny world of Whoville perched on a speck of dust caught on a clover. But the big-hearted, faithful elephant not only finds a way to change everyone’s minds but to enshrine a new dictum… that a person’s a person, no matter how small.
