One night only. An extraordinary performance of words and music. Sold out in London.
An Evening with Michael Morpurgo combines remarkable storytelling and heart-rending music. WAR HORSE author Michael Morpurgo will read from his acclaimed novel, on which both the award-winning National Theatre of Great Britain stage production and the upcoming Steven Spielberg film are based.
He will be joined by musician and songwriter John Tams, whose rousing yet haunting songs were specially composed for the stage production of WAR HORSE.
Together they will tell the powerful story of young Albert and his beloved horse Joey, which moves from life on a farm in peaceful Devon, England, to survival on the Western Front in the First World War.
Don't miss this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to hear the author of WAR HORSE in his own words and voice, as we prepare for the Canadian premiere of the international blockbuster stage spectacle.
