Breen Godfrey in association with Sunny Breaks Productions presents
Psycho Thriller Theatre Featuring 2 One Act Plays:
“Monster”, directed by Nathan Zimmerman and written by Breen Godfrey, finds an unsuspecting man visited by a stranger who is terrified by who or what may be wreaking a supposed violent havoc outside. Between fear of the unknown and the paranoia of what we think is waiting around the corner of our minds, we will all find our “Monster”.
“The Last House” directed by Robert Rainville and written by Breen Godfrey, tells the tale of a hermit locking himself in from the outside world who is confronted with the idea that he may have the very last standing structure of shelter on the entire planet. What happens when all of humanity comes knocking? Every day we hear the sirens of our society letting us know our world is being torn apart, and burned to the ground. But when all the sirens go silent, maybe there are no more buildings on fire and maybe we just happen to reside in “The Last House”.
Both of these tales are based on the simple idea of, “what if?” and are told through the spectacles of a dystopic lens. Sunny Breaks has been a member of Toronto’s independent film/theatre world since 2004.
