This coming Monday, February 20 let’s make a little music together! Soundstreams has planned a fun-filled musical experience workshop for the whole family!
From teacups to flower pots; cardboard boxes to ice cream buckets; tin cans to one-of-a-kind pottery pieces discover how traditional everyday objects can become musical instruments in this Found Percussion workshop designed for the whole family.
Participants will turn non-musical objects into an orchestra of sound possibilities. No musical experience necessary!
With a focus on improvisation and creative music making, this guarantees to be a unique, inclusive, and above all extremely fun way to spend Family Day.
Presented in partnership with the Gardiner Museum, this workshop will be led by percussionist Adam Campbell, member of TorQ Percussion Quartet, at the Gardiner Museum on Monday, February 20, 2012 from 2:30pm-3:30pm
Participation is free with admission price to the Gardiner Museum - $12 for Adults, children under 12 free (must be accompanied by an adult). Registration at the door.
