In this solo show Jarret Wright sinks so deeply into each of a series of six radically distinct characters that by the end it’s hard to believe one person could have played them all. Wright will follow the portrait of a tragic figure, with a comic buffoon, a military hero with a Tarantinoesque nutcase.
What unites the six is each character’s extraordinary obsession with something quite trivial. While I wish the sequence had deeper thematic connections, it does provide Wright with the perfect showcase for his extraordinary intensity and versatility as an actor.
