“Peter n’ Chris Search New Dimensions”

Peter Carlone and Chris Wilson have taken audiences on many stage adventures into specific genres of film – sci-fi, mystery and last year the western with Peter n’ Chris and the Kinda OK Corral.  This year’s Fringe entry, Here Lies Chris, tackles two enormous topics at once – death and comedy itself.  Much of the humour in Peter n’ Chris shows comes from the commentary both make on their actions and the plot while it is happening.  Here Lies Chris also takes this technique even further so that one would have to place about five “metas” before the word “theatrical” to describe accurately how many layers of commentary are at work in any one scene.  At the end of the show one tends to feel not so much exhilarated as exhausted.
