Toronto, ON – We are proud to announce Fringe’s new virtual hub Inside Fringe, which streams our Twitter and Instagram feeds on one accessible page on our website. We encourage audience members, artists and theatre aficionados to join a LIVE conversation about the Fringe.
Tweet the hashtag #Fringe2016 for buzz or #FringeBites for instant micro-reviews of Fringe Festival shows. To follow the Fringe trend keep an eye out for the Following:
#Fringe2016: our official hashtag for this year’s Fringe. This is the place where people are generating buzz about everything Fringe. It is the Hive of the festival.
#FringeBites: allows people to review the shows in 140 characters. We value the voiced opinions of our audience. We want everyone to have a say.
#FringeFemmeTO: this hashtag promotes the over 75 shows penned by women and the over 60 shows with a female/female identified director. #FringeFemmeTO supports the female voice in Toronto Theatre and aids these wickedly talented women to dismantle the glass ceiling.
#FringeTO: the go to # in case you forget the others.
We have also introduced two new live streaming applications into our communications process. Special events including Opening Ceremonies, our Farewell Honest Ed’s Party and other Fringe Club initiatives can be seen around the world as they happen through Periscope and FaceBook Live.
