Couks a 32 year old, 3time College dropout and fulltime dishwasher, lives alone with his cat Eisenhower, loves cheap beer and hockey, has never been in a relationship and yet, appears to be happy. Privately he is terrified of turning into his blind, diabetic, and alcoholic father. Couks is helped by two coworkers Mike (a positive psychology grad student) and Bliss (fulltime cook/parttime hapless poet) – who are each dealing with their own issues. Their discoveries feed the central theme posed by their varied predicaments – is happiness truly a choice?
