"Ze": queer as f*ck! is the personal saga of Michelle/Ryan through the ups and downs of being queer on an unusual journey through identity that is met with challenge at every turn. Part theatre, story telling, and stand-up, Michelle/Ryan laughs at that pain, sneers at fear, and puts zirself back together when the ze falls apart. Ze takes all the accumulated shame, turns it around, and gives the audience a giant jolt of PRIDE.
A Toronto Fringe and Toronto Pride 2016 affiliate event, "Ze" aims to bring some healing in the shadow of this year's pride season.
Presented by Michelle/Ryan, written and performed by Michelle Lunicke, and directed by Peter Larsen, “Ze”: queer as f*ck! is making its Canadian debut in Toronto Fringe after successful tours in Australia and New Zealand. This year it was nominated for best comedy at Fringe World in Perth and has enjoyed rave reviews and sold-out audiences.
It is Michelle/Ryan’s second autobiographical show.
