The Smile Off Your Face starts from an unusual position for the audience member: he or she is alone, in a wheelchair, hands tied and blindfolded. You are invited into a sensory experience, moving through a room of imaginative wonder. Surrounded by eight performers, embark on a one-of-a-kind journey that’s all about you. The Smile Off Your Face dismisses the distinction between stage and seating area and immerses the audience into the progression of the ‘play.’ Originally created by Ontroerend Goed. This Canadian Premiere is directed by Brian Postalian (Crapshoot Artistic Producer) featuring Shira Leuchter (UnSpun Theatre, NTS), Jajube Mandiela (8 seasons on Degrassi, b current) Benjamin Wardle (Citadel/Banff Training Program), and Andrew Pimento (Mockingbird NSTF).
