After a sold-out event this past December, WAR HORSE author, Michael Morpurgo, returns to Toronto for an extraordinary performance of words and music. Combining remarkable storytelling and heart-rending music, he will read from his acclaimed novel, on which the Canadian stage production is based. Audience members will have the opportunity to participate in a Q&A with the author during this special event.
Michael Morpurgo will be joined by Juno Award-winning singer/songwriter and War Horse cast member Melanie Doane, who will sing a selection of the rousing songs from the show.
Together they will tell the powerful story of young Albert and his beloved horse Joey, which moves from life on a farm in peaceful Devon, England, to survival on the Western Front in the First World War.
Don't miss this opportunity to hear the author of WAR HORSE in his own words and voice!
