Calling all Torontonians!
WALK
In Toronto? Join Mammalian and the Madeleine Collective for the next edition of These are the People in Your Neighbourhood as part of Art of the Danforth. Meet Ms. Jen's grade 4 class (R.H. McGregor Elementary School) at Woodbine TTC station at 1pm on Saturday, June 9. The kids will take you on a walk and tell you all about the business owners who work in their 'hood. Then head to the wrap party at LucSculpture School & Studios (663 Greenwood Ave.) at 6:30pm ('til 8) for grilled cheese sandwiches and to watch a documentary about the project. See you there.
These are the People in Your Neighbourhood received seed funding through Toronto Arts Council's Incubate program which is funded jointly by the City of Toronto, Toronto Arts Foundation and Luminato, Toronto's Festival of Arts + Creativity.
