Warm congratulations to composer Ana Sokolovic
who was named as a "trésor national" by ministre de la Culture, des Communications et de la Condition féminine du Québec, Christine Saint-Pierre. This honour follows Ana's recognition by the Société de Musique Contemporaine du Québec as the featured composer in its 2011-12 season Homage Series.
Queen of Puddings has had an intensely creative relationship with Ana since 2000, with operatic commissions including Sirens/Sirènes, The Midnight Court, Love Songs, and SVADBA-WEDDING.
