Toronto – August 23, MMXII – The Classical Theatre Project (CTP) and Casa Loma announced today that, due to popular demand, The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) will be extended for an additional six performances, running twice an evening on Aug. 29, 30, 31 and Sept. 5. The Complete Works of William Shakespeare (Abridged) plays on the garden terrace of Casa Loma, where three actors perform all 37 of Shakespeare’s plays in 87 minutes with the help of swords, wigs and rubber duckies. The show’s engaging style and unique setting has made it a huge hit with audiences and critics alike.
Picture it: classical music, a glass of wine, the soft splash of a garden fountain, the battlements of a historic castle - while an audience is completely engaged in Shakespeare’s Titus Andronicus performed as a cooking show by men in tights. Featuring the stars of Classical Theatre Project’s classical repertory company, audiences of all ages and backgrounds are falling in love with the Bard’s work all over again.
