The cast and crew of My Fair Lady are in the building!
Sixty-two high school students are in The Grand Theatre backstage and on-stage. The students from London and area are working hard to bring the classic tale of My Fair Lady to life on The Grand’s main stage.
Professor Henry Higgins plucks young Cockney flower seller, Eliza Doolittle from the streets of London to transform her into a lady of high-society. The spirited musical includes memorable favourites such as “I Could Have Danced All Night”, “Get Me to the Church On Time” and “On the Street Where You Live." My Fair Lady is directed by The Grand’s Artistic Director, Susan Ferley.
The only project of its kind in North America, the High School Project offers students an exceptional opportunity to receive education and training, free of charge, with theatre professionals in the working theatre environment. Students work on stage and behind the scenes to produce an exceptional, high-energy production.
Witness the exceptional talent from youth in our community. My Fair Lady runs from September 18 to 29 at The Grand.
