SPREADING THE WORD
Twelve writers accepted the challenge of writing, on the spot and in Hilroy exercise books, in response to a battery of questions, themes and subjects both chosen and imposed. Their texts – magnificent, surprising, caustic, political, funny and even hilarious – are by no means didactic. They describe our contemporary world in language very much committed to the here and now. On September 12, 2012 this latter-day happening for local audiences will kick off Brigitte Haentjens’ first season as head of the NAC French Theatre.
A dynamic literary event for anyone who loves language and words, whether as balms, bombs or bonbons!
Texts: Fanny Britt, Olivier Choinière, Sébastien David
Philipe Ducros, Emmanuelle Jimenez, Annick Lefebvre, Catherine Léger, Jean-François Nadeau, Dominick Parenteau-Lebeuf, Pierre Raphaël Pelletier, Catherine Voyer-Léger and Anne-Marie White
Original idea and artistic direction: Martin Faucher
Produced by Festival du Jamais Lu
