Toronto, Ontario - On the heals of the successful run of A Behanding in Spokane, Unit 102 Actors co. switches gears to bring William Shakespeare's classic play Julius Caesar to the stage.
Originally published in the first folio of 1623, its believed Julius Caesar was performed as early as 1599, making its relevance in modern days society even more impressive.
Centred around the events of Julius Caesar’s assassination in 44 B.C, the play follows a group of revolutionary senators, fearful that their republic will turn into a totalitarian state.
With radiant text this compelling and biting drama illustrates the stark link between power and corruption.
