Three Cape Breton sisters, reunited by a family crisis, discover that sometimes an anxiously awaited event can be a major disappointment whereas at other times, a long awaited outcome can result from an unexpected turn of events.
Cast: N.B. Ages indicate the age the character should appear to be
Agnes: The eldest sister, 30s-40s, an actress/waitress living in Toron
Theresa: The middle sister, 30s-40s, a nun living in a farming order in New Brunswick
Louise: The youngest sister, 30s, lives at home on Cape Breton Island.
Please prepare a short [less than two minutes] comedic monologue. You may also be asked to read from the play. Excerpts will be available for actors to read at the audition. You should read the play before auditioning. Please bring a resume and headshot - a photocopy will do. The script is on reserve at the Performing Arts Desk, 5th floor, Toronto Reference Library, 789 Yonge Street.
