Toronto, ON – Thursday, December 19, 2013 Sterling Studio Theatre Collective presents The Lover by Harold Pinter. SSTC warmly welcomes guest director Brett Haynes in his season debut with the company.

Brett Haynes brings his incredible experience as producer, founder of Triangle Pi Productions and Director to this show. Mr. Haynes has directed several plays in Toronto and throughout Ontario including the new play It All Leads to the Lemon Scene which debuted at the News Ideas Festival in Toronto and then went on to be produced in New York City where it won Audience Pick, Leading Actress award, and Best Direction. Mr. Haynes also produced Breaking News, which was showcased at the 2011 Toronto Fringe Festival where it was awarded Critic’s Pick and Patron’s pick.
Returning to the stage this season is Kerri Smith (for SSTC: Danny and the Deep Blue Sea, David Rotenberg’s adaptation of The Great Gatsby, and Fool for Love) as Sarah. In addition to her stage work, the Leo nominated actress can be seen in Jesse Stone (CBS). Justin Mader who makes his debut with SSTC, joins Ms. Smith as Richard. Previous stage credits include The Mercy Seat and Blackbird (both Lyric Studio,Vancouver), 4 Dogs and a Bone (AK Productions), upcoming SSTC Lonestar.
