On the 100th Anniversary of Leacock's most enduring work "Sunshine Sketches of a Little Town", playwright/actor Joe Matheson brings to life this iconic Canadian humourist!
Playwright's Notes:
It was a true honour to be asked in 2011 by the Leacock Museum to create a show to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of 'Sunshine Sketches'. I would not have called myself a Stephen Leacock fan before I started writing this play, but I knew some of my humourist heroes were. Over the last two years, I have become not only a fan, but a huge admirer of the man.
