Spur, a new national festival of politics, and ideas - the latest innovative idea to come forward from the Literary Review of Canada and Diaspora Dialogues - launches in Toronto with an eclectic mix of events, debates, musical performances and walking tours and more. In its inaugural year, Spur will roll out edition in Winnipeg and Vancouver in addition to Toronto. Spur invites Canadians to join today's most provocative writer's journalists, entrepreneurs, activists and political leaders.

Hannah Moscovitch
Award-winning playwright who is unafraid to tackle difficult subjects. Best known for East of Berlin she premiered three plays this year at the Tarragon: This Is War, Little Ones and Other People's Children.
Guillermo Verdecchia
Playwright, director, actor and dramaturge, recipient of the Governor General's Award for Drama, four Chalmers New Play Awards and sundry other awards.
Michael Healey
One of the exceptional voices in Canadian theatre. Recipient of the Dora Mavor Moore Award, a Governor General's Literary Award, and a Chalmers Canadian Play Award.
