Just run into your old boyfriend and he didn't recognize you in your track pants? Sending your kids out on playdates with the D list from the playground? Eating all the leftovers yourself because "food shouldn't go to waste"?
Stop that! And do yourself a favour. Pull out your calendar and book your tickets to Suddenly Mommy on Thursday March 28th at 8pm at The Richmond Hill Performing Arts Centre.
I'm not saying having kids ruined my life... but I'm not not saying it either. From the creator of Not Getting It. Just back from Los Angeles (how did I even sneak out of the house?!) I bring you: Suddenly Mommy. Part of the Suite Thursdays Festival at the Beautiful Richmond Hill Performing Arts Centre. See you there. xoxo AMS
Suddenly Mommy starring Anne Marie Scheffler
The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts
Thursday, March 28 at 7:30 pm
Every woman who's had a baby recognizes the moment when your name changes from "Hey, Sexy" to suddenly "Mommy!” Second City Alumna Anne Marie Scheffler, and star of her own TV special on The Comedy Network performs her 7th one woman show for the first time at The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts. This is a hilarious and relatable one-woman show - fresh from shows performed in Los Angeles, Second City Hollywood and Theatre Row in New York City. In April, Anne Marie will co-star in Spank! The 50 Shades Parody at The Panasonic Theatre in Toronto, which she also co-wrote.
"Anne Marie Scheffler didn't think motherhood would be this hard. She thought she could be the sexy showbiz mom, with a baby in one arm, a movie script in the other. Her jarring realization otherwise makes for a humorous and entertaining show." - CBC Radio
At the Studio Theatre, The Richmond Hill Centre for the Performing Arts, 10268 Yonge Street, Richmond Hill, ON. Tickets are $18 and available by calling the box office at 905-787-8811 or clicking the link below.
