Our choices make us who we are. So, do our harder choices make us ‘better people’? Have our easier choices made us ‘happy folk’? Did our stranger choices make us....The Weaker Vessels?
Damned if you do, damned if you don’t. You can’t live with us, can’t live without us. It’s either/or and there’s no two ways around it! Or are there? Well, thank God (or whoever–your decision) that we’re here to explore it through sketch comedy, our chosen medium.
Confused? Well aren’t we all anyway? Don’t dilemmas just plague every walk of modern life? Don’t they direct us, shape us, and ultimately define us? What else can we blame for our failed actors, excruciating school reunions, even vengeful ghosts, but our decisions?
The Weaker Vessels, fresh from making a splash at the Toronto SketchFest whilst earning
a reputation as essential mainstays in the hugely popular ‘FanFiction: The Show’ franchise, are no different to you: We’re addicted to choosing.
Forgiveness or violence?
Warranty or no warranty?
Keep the ugly guy or not?
....Oh. And Netflix.
Our much anticipated follow up to our full length revues We’ve Only Just Begun, Lovely Bits, and this year’s warmly received Vintage Collection– sees this Toronto based sketch troupe with a British/Yankee twang set to win over new audiences and satisfy familiar ones with a very very funny, brand new revue.
No. Even better.
A ‘choice’ revue. Yes.
(Have you guessed the theme yet? Oh good...) See you there!
WOULD YOU RATHER...?
