DAYNA TEKATCH - Director
Dayna directed and choreographed Midlife: The Crisis Musical for Orillia last season. Selected credits include: Director/Choreographer-Oliver! (NAC); Director-The 39 Steps(Stage West and the Canadian premiere at the 1000 Islands Playhouse), Driving Miss Daisy, Tuesday's With Morrie(Starbright Festival); Choreographer- The Penelopiad(Citadel), The Wizard of Oz(Globe), The Drowsy Chaperone(Vancouver playhouse, NAC, Citadel, 1000 Islands-Sterling award for Outstanding Choreography, Winter Wonderettes(Kingston Grand), The Music Man, Anything Goes(TUTS), Romeo&Juliet, nativity, Creation, A Christmas Carol(NAC). Dayna spent 8 consecutive seasons with the Stratford Festival as an actor and choreographer and 3 seasons with the English Theatre Company at the National Arts Centre as a director, choreographer, and actor.
BRIAN PAUL - George
BRIAN PAUL spent 2012 playing Sergeant Thunder in WarHorse at the Princess of Wales Theatre in Toronto. He’s happy to return to LOL this year. He was Henry in Sexy Laundry in 2011 and Ron in Married Alive in 2010. Previously Brian appeared at the Orillia Opera House as Charles in Blithe Spirit and Saunders in Lend Me a Tenor. Brian performs across Canada. He has been a company member for The Vancouver Playhouse, The Manitoba Theatre Centre, The Blyth Festival, Festival Lennoxville and The Stratford Festival. He also appears in many films and television shows. Recently Brian worked on Murdoch Mysteries, The Listener and the soon-to-be-released feature film Mr. Viral. Brian lives in Toronto with wife Deborah Tennant and their daughter Aislinn Paul.
ROBIN CLIPSHAM – Doris
Actor, director, writer, and educator, Robin has spent most of her life in theatre. Recent credits include Murder In Noirville, and Thumbs (for Laugh Out Loud), As You Like It, The Taming of the Shrew, Twelfth Night, The Tempest, and A Midsummer Night’s Dream (for PRISM Theatre In The Park), Birth, Wit, Noises Off! (for the Rene M. Caisse Theatre), Misery, Love Letters (for The Whole Enchilada), Steel Magnolias, Fiddler On The Roof (at The Algonquin) The Rez Sisters and Les Belles Soeurs (for Nipissing University), Sexy Laundry (for Theatre Muskoka), and the Peaches series of shows all over the place! Robin also teaches drama courses and improvisational theatre to adults, children, and high school students in Muskoka.
