MCT brings its successful hard-hitting anti-bullying play SHOWDOWN 2.0 to both French & English schools April 7th to May 2nd 2014! SHOWDOWN 2.0 was developed in consultation with high school students and is a realistic portrayal of bullying and how technology is influencing the actions and outcomes of harassment.
MCT is committed to bringing our anti-bullying programming to schools both inside and outside of the GTA. We are currently applying for funding to allow us to subsidize the cost to reach schools in Northern and Western Ontario. Si vous êtes à la recherche d’une façon puissante et interactive d’entamer une discussion dans VOTRE école, jetez un coup d’œil à notre pièce contre l’intimidation, intitulée SHOWDOWN 2.0, laquelle sera en tournée dans les écoles du 7 avril au 2 mai 2014.
SHOWDOWN 2.0 est un spectacle interactif genre théâtre-forum qui aborde le problème d’intimidation à la lumière d’un paysage technologique hyperconnecté et toujours changeant. Développée en consultation avec des élèves du secondaire, la pièce SHOWDOWN 2.0 offre une image réaliste de l’intimidation, en explorant la façon dont la technologie influe sur les gestes de violence et de harcèlement ainsi que sur leurs répercussions.
La pièce permet aux élèves de répéter des situations en vue de se préparer à la réalité, en leur offrant des choix positifs et d’autres résultats et solutions possibles.
