Rehearsals are currently underway for the Toronto premiere of the 25th-anniversary edition of Les Misérables, starring Ramin Karimloo (London's The Phantom of the Opera and Love Never Dies) as Jean Valjean, which will begin its limited engagement at the Princess of Wales Theatre Sept. 27.
Mirvish Productions will present Cameron Mackintosh's revised production of the musical by Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schönberg. Tickets are currently on sale through Dec. 22.
Les Misérables will return to Broadway March 1, 2014, with an official opening set for March 23, 2014, at the Imperial Theatre.
A new rehearsal clip from the Toronto production has been released featuring Karimloo performing "Bring Him Home," as well as the entire ensemble offering "One Day More."
