If you missed us this summer, now's the time to check out this lightly produced black comedy filled with puppet mayhem and revolutionary ditties!
Our Last Best Hope is a bold play inspired in part by the Idle No More movement, and written by public space performance pioneer David Anderson (Artistic Director, Clay & Paper Theatre) and multi-disciplinary artist, Angela Loft.
Using Clay & Paper Theatre’s trademark satire and wit, evocative images, puppets and masks, and memorable music and dance, Our Last Best Hope fearlessly skewers some big foes - from the oil industry to our odd ability to passively watch ecological crises unfolding around us.
Our Last Best Hope also works as a wake-up call for action and an ode to perseverance, nurturing, and optimism. "It's time to change direction, it's time to change our tune, it's not an insurrection, it's the changing of the moon."
