Toronto, Ontario - The Next Stage Theatre Festival (NSTF) is Toronto’s premiere winter theatre event. Presented by the Toronto Fringe, the mandate of NSTF is to offer Fringe Festival artists the opportunity to bring their work to the next stage. The 2015 Next Stage Theatre Festival runs from January 7 – 18, 2015.
Featuring some of the hottest indie theatre and dance talent in the country, NSTF 2015 is poised to be a buzzing festival for industry leaders, local artists and savvy culture lovers. In fact, pre-sales are up 25% from our best box office year ever in 2014. Clearly the festival model continues to offer added value to audiences. Like Fringe, NSTF offers audiences the opportunity to sample from a selection of affordable and cutting-edge shows. But only NSTF promises a juried selection of the best Fringe artists from the past year. It’s got the appeal and energy of the Toronto Fringe, but with a more tailored, curated sensibility. Both festivals continue to grow, each having seen record-breaking sales years in 2014. 2015 looks set to continue that upward trend.
