Norm Foster is Canada’s most-produced playwright and “Canada’s Comedy
King” (London Free Press). You’re probably familiar with his plays The Melville Boys or The Foursome or Office Hours. They’re terrific...but they’ve been done time and time again. Sparrowhawk Theatre has decided to unearth some of Norm’s work that rarely gets seen in Toronto, or anywhere else!
When director Steven Holmberg discovered My Narrator and The Death of Me, he instantly recognized two comedic gems full of emotion and truth. These two one-acts get straight to the heart of love & loneliness and life & death. This production will be a rare chance to view them, and they’ll be presented together. One Ticket, Two Plays!
Sparrowhawk Theatre presents this production at Downtown Toronto’s Unit 102 Theatre. Located at the border between Queen West and Parkdale at 376 Dufferin St., Unit 102 is one of the city’s new breed of unpretentious indie storefront theatres. At this new-and-improved space, the cast and audiences alike will be challenged to have an honest and intimate experience. It won’t be your Granny’s Norm Foster!
This professional Equity Collective production brings together a dedicated team of talented actors, including Roger Doche, Jorge Molina, Laura Jabalee, Chris O’Sullivan and Royal Canadian Air Farce’s Penelope Corrin.
Unit 102 Theatre has limited seating and this one-week run is already selling out!
