Stratford Regular, Daniel Briere (Romeo & Juliet, King John),stars as the Vicomte de Valmont, a self styled LibertineconfidenthecanseduceanywomanintobeduntilhemeetsthepiousMadamedeTourvel, Karen Knox (Skriker, Human Furniture, SHREW). A bet has been made between Valmont and the Marquise de Merteuil, Claire Burns (SHREW, Abigail's Party, Blyth Festival), a powerful widow who is the most feared and coveted woman in all of France. If Valmont can succeed in seducing the saintly Tourvel, Merteuil will be his for a single night.
