Stage Door News
A stylish, fast-paced, comedic coming-of-age story about a group of kids following their adolescent dreams, with the hope that it will rescue them from a mundane life in the suburbs.
Boys from the Burbs follows the newfound passions of four adolescent boys (and one girl) over a few tumultuous days. Friendships are tested,
revolutions are planned, and love is won and lost in this original Canadian play.
Boys from the Burbs is a creation of a Ryerson Theatre school workshop, and premiered as a staged reading at The 2011 New Voices Festival.
This is the world premiere of this young Canadian work.
