TORONTO, ON - Toronto based performers Brie Watson and Gillian English, collectively known as improv comedy duo “Exit, Pursued by a Bear”, are celebrating the first anniversary of their monthly comedy variety show “Exit, Pursued by a Bear & Friends” with an epic night of hilarity featuring some of Toronto’s funniest and most talented performers.
The show will be headlined by the Exit, Pursued by a Bear, who have recently returned from a successful run of shows at the Atlantic Fringe Festival in Halifax, Nova Scotia where their “fast pace improv comedy” show was called “perfectly enjoyable silliness” by The Coast magazine. The duo rely on their dynamic chemistry, relatable characters and sometimes surreal situations to take you on an adventure into the world of the smart and the silly, with a healthy serving of slapstick!
Joining EPBAB on stage that night will be sketch troupes L’il Rasgals (Chelsea Larkin and Susannah Kiernan), Palcoholics (Matt Nadeau and Aaron Peever) and fresh from his performance at SiriusXM’s Top Comic, stand-up comedian Ryan Dillon.
The anniversary celebrations are set to commence on Thursday, October 15th at 8:00 p.m. at the Social Capital Theatre (154 Danforth Ave. 2nd Floor,) the home to the duo’s variety show for the past year. Tickets will be available at the door and will cost $5 per person.

About L’il Rasgals
Together Chelsea Larkin and Susannah Kiernan form sketch duo “L’il RasGALS”, and one regular sized human (almost). RasGALS are currently nominated by NOW Magazine for “Toronto's Best Sketch Troupe” and they received rave reviews for their performance at Montreal Sketchfest this year. They’ve also performed in the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival. Combined they have over 20 years of improv and sketch experience, but enough bragging, sit back and enjoy watching these two l’il imps corpse at each other on stage (and off).
About Palcoholics
Palcoholics are neat buds Matthew Nadeau and Aaron Peever. Together, they piss each other off in sketches about history, bromance, and movies they haven't seen. These boys have performed at the Toronto Sketch Comedy Festival, Montreal Sketchfest, the Ottawa Fringe Festival and at the Legion hall in Penetanguishene. They’ve also opened for indie blues rock band “The Wicked Mercy.” Audiences agree, they're not afraid to tell each other how handsome they are.
