Calling all Teens: Speak Out with Art this March Break
This March break, Mixed Company Theatre in partnership with Urban Arts, will be hosting a workshop series, culminating in a performance on what it’s like to be a teen in Toronto. We are putting a call out to teens 14 to 18 with and without theatre experiences who can sing, dance, rap, play music or just want to be creative!

Community Performance @ Lambton House March 1st
This month we are working with a great group of older adults at historic Lambton house to explore memories, experiences and intergenerational issues. In partnership with Ryerson and Heritage York, the workshops will lead to an interactive performance March 1st. All are welcome.

Rainbow of Desire Workshops
Sharpen your practice! Join us this March for a one day intensive on the Rainbow of Desire, a therapeutic ability to use theatre developed by Augusto Boal.
Artistic Director Simon Malbogat will take participants through the major concepts of Rainbow of Desire. Using games and techniques, participants will examine internal desires which can oppress the individual.

Mentorship Opportunity
We are looking for people who are interested in Helping Youth and Older Adults find a voice, feel joy and inclusion by creating meaningful art together.
We will give you the opportunity to:
•Observe MCT’s methodologies by partaking in the various project development stages (curriculum development, workshop facilitation, rehearsals, video production, forum theatre performances and project evaluation)
•Receive one on one training with established Community Artists
•Receive support and guidance to help you build your own community arts program within your community
•Establish a lasting partnership with MCT to help you with your future projects
•Receive MCT’s video training guide to help implement your art for social change project
