Stage Door News
On Monday, February 16, Young People’s Theatre will be presenting a very special performance of Snow Angel. This delightful play about the magic of winter and the ripple effect of kindness will be presented on the Mainstage from February 10 to 19, 2015. There will be a 2pm performance on Family Day and your show ticket comes with lots of FREE activities, including a scavenger hunt, backstage tours and a family mask workshop!
Snow Angel cleverly uses movement, mask and music to tell the story of a brother and his younger sister who, together, discover a winter wonderland of play in a new snowfall. Their only challenge is the bird-loving old man who lives next door and wants to keep them off his property. When the sister starts to form an unlikely friendship with the neighbour, the frustrated brother indulges in a careless act that upsets the old man. In order to set things right, the brother must make a great personal sacrifice.
