Lederman - Bell
Anne Lederman and Ian Bell in concert
Sensational Fiddle Music!
Wednesday, April 15 | 8pm
All seats $20 BUY HERE
Be part of a video shoot! Internationally renowned Canadian musicians Anne Lederman (fiddle) and Ian Bell (guitar, concertina, button accordion, 5-string banjo and Scottish small pipes) are coming to Blyth Memorial Hall to record a new concert DVD and you can be in the audience. Don't pass up this unique opportunity to be a part of something special.
Anne and Ian have been playing great Canadian music - old and new - for longer than they care to admit. In the late 70s, along with Kate Murphy, they formed the group Muddy York, in order to bring the traditional songs and dance music of Canada to audiences that often didn't even know that music existed. They performed at folk festivals, clubs, museums, historic sites and at Expo '86. For 30 years they have continued their work separately and together, as songwriters, composers and interpreters of Canadian tradition.

Love Letters
By A.R. Gurney
A Blyth Festival Community Production
April 25, 26, 30, May 1, 2
All seats $25 BUY HERE
This unique and imaginative theatre piece is comprised of letters exchanged over a lifetime between two people who grew up together, went their separate ways, but continued to share confidences. As the actors read the letters aloud, what is created is an evocative, touching, frequently funny but always telling pair of character studies in which what is implied is as revealing and meaningful as what is actually written down.
The Blyth production features familiar faces from the community, each playing for ONE PERFORMANCE ONLY! Come and support your favourite couple!
