Going On
Written & Performed by Elizabeth Richardson
Directed by Stuart Cox
Friday May 8 @ 8pm, Saturday May 9 @ 4pm, & Tuesday May 12 @ 6pm
Stratford City Hall Auditorium
One woman show with 12 characters. The compelling, raw, and paradoxical yet hilarious life of a Buddhist actress, featuring Peter O'Toole and her mother.
Drawing from her own life, Elizabeth counterpoints her struggles as a young actress working with Peter O’Toole in shows that toured Toronto, Chicago and Washington – with her later challenges as a Buddhist on a three-year meditation retreat in Nova Scotia. We see art and life collide as characters from Noel Coward’s Present Laughter, Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya, and a dozen other characters from Elizabeth’s life fill the stage. Revealing her ups and downs, successes and failures and her challenging and heartbreaking relationship with her mother, she shares with the audience the insights into the paradoxical life of a Buddhist actress. The show is a bold, funny, vulnerable and courageous piece of writing and a tour de force of acting.
JESTERS INCOGNITO
Written & Performed by Harrison Wheeler
Saturday May 9 @ 10pm - St. John's United Church
Saturday May 16 @ 4pm - Factory163
One-man show. Two marvelous stories. Many jesters! This dramatically hilarious recovery story unlocks the key to mental wellness. For more than 20 years, Harrison fills sketchbooks in order to cope with his Bipolar condition. In them he writes the story of Mr. Meister, a taxi driver who starts an underground group of artists and entertainers in a dystopian world where live entertainment is outlawed.
With a creative mash up of cartooning, music, and comedy, you are taken into the imagination of both Harrison and Mr. Meister, wherein they reveal the key to mental wellness, and the cure to the dreaded Doldrums. Audiences are raving about this underground renaissance of otherworldly jesters; the value of their seemingly silly shenanigans runs deep and leaves most blinded by glee!
Celebrate human resilience and the power of art!
The Last Man On Earth
Co-Created by Keystone Theatre

Factory163
The Devil and his minion plot to corrupt the last vestige of innocence on earth. Underdog Gormless Joe must play the hero or lose everything, including his one chance at love. Dora Award-Winning Keystone Theatre brings to the stage a thrilling new play in the style of a silent film.
The Show Must Go On
Written & Performed by Jeff Leard
Directed by Jim Leard
Tuesday May 12 @ 8pm & Saturday May 16 @ 12pm
Factory163
Entertaining kids, how hard can it be? Award winning writer and performer Jeff Leard brings his mostly true story about the bizarre, wonderful, and terrible life of an actor out on the road. In his year as a children’s theatre performer Leard encountered incontinent children, death-defying mountain roads, and a mix up with some bloodthirsty bikers. Hilarity ensues as Murphy's Law brings this band of touring actors to the brink of destruction time and again.
Since its first performance in 2013, this show has been performed in 8 Fringe Festivals across Canada garnering awards such as Outstanding Performance (Toronto Fringe) and Best Solo Show (Victoria Fringe). Leard performs this show in his trademark high-energy physical storytelling style, bounding about the stage playing a heaping handful of characters and jumping from character to character with lightning quick changes.
The Two Horsewomen
Written by Robin Craig
Directed by Kate Lynch
Music by Nancy White
Saturday May 9 @ 6pm & Sunday May 10 @ 2pm
Stratford City Hall Auditorium
Edith and Cynthia, two respected senior actresses, against their better judgment, accept “As Cast” in a new musical adaptation of ZORRO at one of the most prestigious theatres in Canada. To their horror, they discover what “As Cast” entails and have to choose whether or not to accept a contract that might mean a blow to their reputations, if not professional suicide. How do they each retain their dignity in the face of what they perceive to be obvious humiliation? How do they deport themselves when they neither like nor respect each other? They not only survive, they triumph.
Gemini Award winner Robin Craig and actor-musician Judy Marshak star in this lighthearted comedy directed by Genie Award winner Kate Lynch.
