Fever/Dream is a stylized satire of your corporate workplace. After being trapped in customer service for 23 years, Segis finds himself in charge of a billion dollar company. But will he lead a revolution, or is this all a dream?
If someone made you CEO for a day, what would you do? And if the business around you was failing apart-full of people in disguise, placing relationships in jeopardy and plotting takeovers-how would you handle it? Would you stand up for change?
Fever/Dream first premiered in 2009 in Washington, D.C. to critical praise:
“[Callaghan has] a keen eye for the outlandish. Exudes the kind of infectious zaniness that occasionally attracts cult followings.” -Variety
“A PIZZAZZ-FILLED CONCOCTION THAT SKEWERS CORPORATISM WITH A GENEROUS SUPPLY SIDE OF LAUGHS. [Callaghan] is without doubt the purveyor of top-shelf American wit." - Metro weekly
Fever/Dream features Trevor Ketcheson (Midsummer Nightmare-Leroy Street Theatre), Genevieve Trottier (Ibsen’s Ghost-Theatre Inamorata) and popular musician Peter Jarvis (Midnight Vesta).
Never before performed in Canada, Seven Siblings is excited to bring this surreal comedy to Toronto. It’s the highly anticipated follow up to last fall’s provocative Mercury Fur.
