Canadian Comedy Award-nominated Bad Dog Theatre Company (Toronto, I Love You - NNNN, NOW Magazine) combines forces with the team behind Sundown (Critic’s Pick, NOW Magazine) to co-present Tales From The Black, a new monthly storytelling show debuting at Bad Dog Comedy Theatre this October. Taking its inspiration from classic horror anthologies like The Twilight Zone and The Outer Limits, Tales From The Black is The Moth by way of H.P Lovecraft: an unsettling, unpredictable, and altogether unforgettable evening of original horror stories as written and performed by Toronto’s top performers.
Directed by acclaimed actor/director Colin Munch (Trout Stanley, Punch Up, Throne of Games) and produced by Jocelyn Geddie (Sundown, Sunday Night Live with the Sketchersons), Tales From The Black will feature writing and performances by Toronto’s most talented writers/performers. The inaugural edition will feature work by Jamie O’Connor (Snakes and Lattes: The Show), Kat Letwin (Retreat - NNNN, NOW Magazine), Nicolas Di Gaetano (Toronto, I Love You, Mi Casa, Inclement Weather), Jessica Moss (Polly Polly - Patron’s Pick, Best of Fringe, Ed Mirvish Award, 2013 Toronto Fringe Festival) and Seann Murray (SwordPlay: A Play Of Two Swords - NNNN, NOW Magazine)
