Hamilton, ON, January 15, 2016 – Theatre Aquarius presents Red - John Logan’s Tony Award-winning masterpiece and a gripping and inspiring journey into the heart of one of the titans of modern art, and an electrifying play of ideas that celebrates the importance of art in our lives.
The story of the fascinating struggles of Mark Rothko to come to grips with his most monumental creations, and of his young assistant to connect with the man behind the fiery genius. Does art have power to transform death into life? If true passion has a colour, can it be anything but Red? A thrilling journey that will change the way you see the world.
Red is directed by Bradley Moss and stars Randy Hughson and Aidan deSalaiz. The design team includes Martin Conboy (sets and lighting) Michelle Vanderheyden (costumes) and Ranil Sonnadara (sound). Beth Bruck is the Stage Manager.
Red will run from January 27th – February 13, 2016. Opening Night is January 29th at 7pm. Hamilton: Theatre Aquarius begins the new year with "Red" January 27-February 13
