From the award-winning improv theatre company that brought Toronto audiences A Galaxy Far, Far Away, comes Rogue Fun an unscripted comedy inspired by George Lucas' Star Wars films.
After last season’s sold out smash hit director Jess Bryson returns with the most recent episode in her Star Wars inspired series. Rogue Fun includes familiar favourites from one of the best loved movie series of all times, with the fresh originality of unscripted comedy. Each show is a completely unique, standalone episode, in which original characters face a new set of intergalactic discoveries and dangers within the Star Wars universe. With all of the adventure, action, and imagination of the original movies, this unscripted comedy highlights the unsung (and unheard of) characters just off screen. Paying homage to its source material, Rogue Fun imagines a new group of unlikely Rebel Alliance leaders, bizarre alien species, and evil Empire minions.
This production features a fantastic crew of renowned comedic performers: Paul Bates (Illusionoid), Conor Bradbury (Sex T-Rex), Alastair Forbes (Theatresports), Sarah Hillier (Second City Mainstage), Liz Johnston (The Show Show), Kris Siddiqi (Past Dark), Sarah Szloboda (Bad Dog Featured Players) and Kevin Vidal (Sunnyside).
Rogue Fun encourages its audience to participate and affect the outcome of the characters' adventures - with Rogue One on the horizon, Bad Dog’s Star Wars send-up show couldn’t be better timed for Lucas fans.
