This holiday season Theatre Aquarius invites you to “Be Our Guest” for the most magical, most enchanting, best-loved family musical of all time! Beauty and the Beast, the story of Belle, an independent girl who longs for a life of wonder, and the monstrous beast who wins her heart in spite of himself. Full of unforgettable characters and Academy Award-winning songs, The Theatre Aquarius production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast is the perfect holiday experience for the entire family to share, and a magical journey that will never be forgotten.
Beauty and the Beast features Music by Alan Menkin, Lyrics by Howard Ashman and Tim Rice and Book by Linda Woolverton. The production is directed by Alex Mustakas with Musical Direction by Michael Barber, Choreography by Robin Calvert and Fight Direction by Joe Bostick. Set Design is by John Dinning, Costume Design by Paul Daigle, Lighting Design by Jeff Johnston-Collins and Kevin Fraser and Sound Design by Anna-Maria Steger.
The show stars Jayme Armstrong as Belle and Michael Blake as the Beast, with Valerie Boyle, Stephan Dickson, Graeme Goodhall, Jessica Horn, Anna Hurshman, Bethany Kovarik, Erik Markewich, Sarah Matton, Kristen Peace, Gregory Pember, Jade Repeta, Brad Rudy, Keith Savage, Connor Scully, Nick Settimi, Amanda Struthman, Brent Thiessen, Tyrell Witherspoon and Victor A. Young. William Thompson and Ian Dekker will alternate in the role of Chip.
Beauty and the Beast will run from November 30th – Dec 31, 2016, with performances from Tuesdays – Saturdays at 7pm, and Saturday and Sunday matinees at 1pm. Tickets range from $30 - $85. Opening Night is Friday December 2nd at 7pm.
