The On Top Collective presents ON TOP, the new play by Tarragon Theatre playwright-in-residence and CBC Fiction Prize winner Daniel Karasik, at Toronto's Tarragon Theatre Workspace, March 15-20, 2016.
The cast includes rising stars Krista Colosimo (seven seasons at the Shaw Festival), Jess Salgueiro (recurring role on BBC America's Orphan Black), and Michael Goldlist (The New School; Flea Theatre, NYC).
On Top was the winner of the 2015 Safe Words Playwriting Contest.
Zach is an Iraq war veteran, a management consultant, a husband, and a father. Lisa is a neoconservative scholar, a freelance writer, a wife, and a mother. Join them as they roam landscapes of power – the Middle East’s shattered cities, the vortex of global markets, their bedroom with its paddles – and try to figure out who’s in charge.
All tickets are twelve dollars, on sale from the Tarragon Theatre box office (https://tickets.tarragontheatre.com/ or 416-531-1827) as of Friday, February 26th. The running time is approximately 70 minutes and the performance schedule is as follows:
Tuesday, March 15th -- 8 pm
Wednesday, March 16th -- 8 pm (press night)
Thursday, March 17th -- 9:30 pm
Friday, March 18th -- 9:30 pm
Saturday, March 19th -- 8 pm
Sunday, March 20th -- 2:30 pm
This production is made possible through the generous support of Tarragon Theatre’s Workspace. Patrons are forewarned that the performance contains mature content including graphic discussions of sexuality and violence.
