Hamilton, ON, February 17, 2016 – Theatre Aquarius presents Alan Ayckbourn’s If I Were You - a gender-bending comedy about Mal and Jill, an English couple who suddenly have their lives turned upside down when they mysteriously switch bodies! When they decide to hide the flip-flop from their family and friends, and carry on as if nothing had happened, complications spread like wildfire. How well do you think you know the person you share your life with? Well enough to leave no surprises if they were to walk a mile in your shoes?
Mal and Jill embark on an adventure of new perspective as they learn to see themselves as others see them, and discover what they would truly do… If I Were You! A fantasy that will have audiences howling with recognition, and open your eyes to the people closest to you.
If I Were You is directed by Theatre Aquarius Artistic Director Ron Ulrich and stars Maria Dinn, Sean Hauk, Kyle Orzech, Brigitte Robinson and Brad Rudy. The design team includes Ivan Brozic (sets and costumes) Gail Heather Ksionzyk (lighting) and Anna-Maria Steger (sound). Rob Middleton is the Stage Manager.
