TORONTO (February 4, 2016) – After universal acclaim for Stones in His Pockets comes another hilarious comedy from Olivier Award-winning author Marie Jones. Directed by Maja Ardal, and starring Melee Hutton and Jane Miller, FLY ME TO THE MOON plays the Tarragon Theatres’ Workspace Studio from April 24 – May 1, 2016.
Set in modern day Belfast, Francis and Loretta are community care workers. Davy, one of their elderly charges, has had a significant win on the horses. When the cash-strapped women learn that Davy will not be around for a considerable time they are faced with a mouth-watering dilemma and a moral roller coaster – how far are they prepared to go for a significant windfall that apparently hurts no one?
With 23 Dora Award nominations and 2 wins between them, FLY ME TO THE MOON is being produced by Between the Cracks a new start-up theatre company comprised of director Maja Ardal, Belfast-born actor Melee Hutton and actor Jane Miller.
