"Degrassi" regular and Beautiful Broadway actor Jake Epstein leads the cast of Scott Elmegreen and Drew Fornarola's new play Straight, which kicks off its world premiere Off-Broadway at Acorn Theatre @ Theater Row Feb. 9.
Epstein stars as Ben, a 26-year-old investment banker who, according to production notes, "likes beer, sports, and Emily. And Chris." Thomas E. Sullivan plays Chris, and Jenna Gavigan plays Emily.
Straight, directed by Andy Sandberg (Application Pending), will officially open Feb. 29, with performances scheduled to run through May 8. For more information visit StraightThePlay.com.
The production features scenic design by Charlie Corcoran, costume design by Michael McDonald, lighting design by Grant Yeager, sound design by Alex Hawthorn, original music by Will Van Dyke and casting by Matthew Maisto, CSA. Baseline Theatrical serves as general manager.

Toronto-born Epstein played the role of Craig Manning on "Degrassi: The Next Generation" for six years and has performed on Broadway in Beautiful: The Carole King Musical and Spider-Man Turn Off the Dark.
