UNIT102 ACTORS CO. presents John Steinbeck’s Of Mice and Men, directed by David Lafontaine. Built on the timeless themes of women’s rights, race relations, the pursuit of money and the search for ‘home’, Steinbeck’s story is as prevalent today as when it was written 80 years ago.
UNIT102 ACTORS CO. is an indie theatre company based in the heart of Parkdale. The company has been creating theatre for over 8 years and has produced more than 26 shows. Built under the direction of co-founders; David Lafontaine, Luis Fernandes, Jesse Ryder Hughes and, Scott Walker UNIT102 ACTORS CO. has become a leader within the independent theatre community in Toronto. Past acclaimed productions include: Red Light Winter, Last Days of Judas Iscariot, Lakeboat, The Hungry, Lobby Hero, Jesus Hopped the ‘A’ Train, American Buffalo and Hamlet. UNIT102 ACTORS CO. was awarded NOW Magazine’s 2015 readers choice award for Best Small Theatre Company and was nominated for 11 MyTheatre Awards for its 2015 season.
