Any Dream Will Do is a journey through the life and times, and of course the music, of this musical theatre icon. When musical theatre was beginning to feel dated to the public, Sir Andrew began to create musicals with a more modern pop feel. Remember, the great musicals of the past were actually the pop music of their day. Thank goodness he did, because we were all given the gift of such beautiful musicals as Les Miserables, Cats, Phantom of the Opera, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dream Coat...and on and on.
