Toronto Masque Theatre invites you to experience worlds of desire and transformation with a season featuring classic stage works of obsession and heartbreak by George Frideric Handel and Richard Strauss alongside the world premiere of the vital, powerful The Man Who Married Himself created by Juliet Palmer and Anna Chatterton. This promises to be another vibrant year of celebration and creation of masque in the heart of Toronto.
We are delighted to also announce that our popular salon series returns, the first of which, Music Amongst the Trees, will be held later this month.
Toronto Masque Theatre is one of the few companies in the world devoted to masque, an art form that brings music, dance and theatre onto a single stage. We are also now one of the world leaders in creating work in this art form.
