Stage Door News
The true story of one girl's journey to sobriety. Two provinces, five jobs, three apartments and twelve steps to figure out that life goes on after drinking. In her debut performance, Shaina talks about the joys and heartache of life before sobriety, and the even weirder things that happen after sobriety.
The heartbreaking comedy has the perfect balance of laugh-cry-laugh and is both brutally honest and hilariously relatable. Shaina is a writing and improv student at Second City and has taken writing workshops from the incomparable Anne Marie Scheffler (Suddenly Mommy, MILF Life Crisis.)
“This is a story people need to hear, this is a story that has to be told and Shaina is the one to do it.” - Anne Marie Scheffler
