Winner of the Best New Play Competition at the 2016 Hamilton Fringe, Theatre by Committee is proud to present “FAITH”, a new play by company member Ben
Hayward. After a successful run at the Hamilton Fringe, “FAITH” will be performed in the Chapel of St. Luke’s United Church. “FAITH” follows the coming of age a troubled teenager and her complicated relationships with God, her father and the minister at the church she no longer attends. “FAITH” explores issues of morality, authority, love and finding meaning.
THEATRE BY COMMITTEE is a seven-member collective based in Toronto. Theatre By Committee is dedicated to creating an open theatrical laboratory for emerging artists. Our process encourages polyvocality and non-traditional approaches to storytelling by celebrating the unexpected surprises that come from risk and collaboration. Of great importance is providing opportunity for continued
learning with emerging theatre artists. We make theatre that is thought provoking,
relevant, and forward-thinking. www.theatrebycommittee.com.
